I started out wanting to become a better cook. What I didn't expect was how quickly that would lead me beyond the kitchen. The more I learned about food, the more interested I became in the ingredients, the people who produce them, and the places they come from.
 

These days, that curiosity takes me to markets, bakeries, producers, festivals, regional towns, and anywhere else a good food story might be found. I'm exploring places through food culture, asking questions, learning as I go, and sharing what I discover along the way.
 

I don't have all the answers, but that's part of what makes the journey interesting.
